Messi's renews his contract with Barca...

Messi signed a new deal with FC Barcelona that will keep him at the Camp Nou till 2016!
He is now the best ever paid player in Barcelona's history. His buy-out clause is set at around 225 million pounds, he is estimated to earn 180 000 pounds a week! Barca was eager to renew his contract after much interest shown in him from the likes of Man City, Inter Milan, and even bitter rivals Real Madrid. Barca renewed the contracts of midfielder Xavi and goalkeeper Valdes this summer, and is set to hold talks with Iniesta soon. The future is looking good for the Blaugrana!
